I got interested in Dobermanns when I met my wife, Denise. She owned two Red Dobes at the time, Celestion Caprice and Martyn Zared Lad (Imp NZ).

These two dogs (and Denise) changed my life forever and I cannot imagine ever being without at least one Dobe. Currently there are 7 adults, and the 3 baby Dobes. Asha & Gibbs (Boxers), Crush (Min Pin) and Amy (the boarding poodle who was left with us 10 years and never went home) also reside with us.

I have been privileged to be the owner of Ch Schameland Kokomo & Ch Scharmeland Linen N Lace and co-owner with Denise of BIS/BISS Ch Tornadobe Marty Robbins CD, Ch Keldoone Raise Yourbets, Ch Aegis Bold Enchantress WAC, BIS Ch Cabochon Caughtcha Lookn, BIS Ch Jenson Feel The Heat, Walamara Moon Tide (AI) and Ebondobe Eric Clapton.  I also co-bred and co-own several champions with Ian, Barbara & Greg Alexander of Walamara Dobermanns.

  We are currently compaigning Ebondobe Eric Clapton,  Myown Clear N Convincing (with Jo Chivers), Myown Blame It On The Boogie and Belmanta Jumpin Jack Flash (Boxer).

Denise surprised me in June 2004 by giving me a male baby Boxer - Belmanta Earnedmystripes - "Sarge" to his mates. She then promptly got herself a female -  Belmanta Look No Stripes - "Asha".  Asha attained her Australian Champion title in January 2007.

 I took my interest in dogs a step further a few years ago and am now licensed to judge Group 6 at Championship level.
